Air Source Heat Pump Installations in Kent

We are professional installers of Air source heat pumps (also known as ASHP’s) and Ground Source Heat Pumps and work throughout the South East. We have completed projects in South East London, Orpington, Sevenoaks, Westerham, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Oxted and as far South as Brighton. We welcome enquiries from the Trade or Public.

The technology works when heat from the air is absorbed at low temperature into a fluid. This fluid then passes through a compressor where its temperature is increased; it then transfers its higher temperature heat to the heating and hot water circuits of the house.

These are some of the benefits of installing an Air Source Heat Pump:

• Lower fuel bills, especially if you are replacing conventional electric heating
• Will provide you with an income through the government’s Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI)
• Lower your home’s carbon emissions, depending on which fuel you are replacing
• No fuel deliveries
• Heat your home and provide hot water
• Need little maintenance – they’re known as ‘fit and forget’ technology

Solar Thermal Installations in Kent

“We are professional installers of Solar Thermal systems and work throughout the South East. We have completed projects in Surrey, Sussex, Sevenoaks, Bromley, Battle, South East London and throughout Kent. We welcome enquiries from the Trade or Public.

A Solar Thermal installation (or Sun Harvester) is designed to save you money and help the environment by converting the natural sunlight that hits the solar panels into heat in your hot water cylinder. The solar water heating system will work alongside your boiler (or alternative heating source) to provide you with free, clean energy to heat a significant amount of your total hot water requirements throughout the year.

A Solar Thermal System is supplied and installed with all the components needed for a complete solar water heating system, including solar hot water cylinders, controllers, system

These are some of the benefits of installing a Solar Thermal system:

• All year round benefit. The Solar Thermal system works all year round, and can be expected to provide most of your hot water between April and September. Solar heated water will also be provided throughout the winter months although you will need to use your boiler more during this period;
• Reduce yours bills. Sunlight is free, so once the system is installed you can expect to see reductions in your water heating bills over the course of the year;
• Reduce your emissions. Solar water heating is a green, renewable heating system and will help you to reduce the CO2 emissions from your home.

Rainwater Harvesting in Kent

“We are professional installers of Rainwater Harvesting systems and work throughout the South East. We have completed projects in Kent, Surrey, Sussex and South East London. We welcome enquiries from the Trade or Public.

In the world of water meters, rising bills and reducing rainfall, you can benefit from using your own rainwater coming off your own roof. In doing this, you will conserve and make better use of the world’s most precious resource. You don’t need drinking quality water to clean your car. You don’t need drinking water to flush your toilet or in the washing machine. And your garden much prefers chemical-free rainwater

Rainwater harvesting is beautiful in its simplicity. It captures rain that falls onto any roof of a building, it is then filtered and stored and used in the house for toilet flushing and washing machines, or for watering the garden and cleaning the car. This saves large amounts on valuable drinking water. The systems are flexible enough to be discreet in their installed location.

These are some of the benefits of installing a Rainwater Harvesting System:

• Reduce your water bills by up to a third
• Harvesting for toilet flushing. The largest water usage in the home is from flushing your toilet.
• Harvesting for washing clothes. Rainwater is soft and is therefore ideal for washing machines.
• Harvesting for Garden watering. Your garden prefers rainwater.

Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI)

The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and how it could benefit you?

The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is a financial support scheme which will provide long-term financial incentives for installations of renewable technologies which generate heat. The RHI is designed to encourage the uptake of renewable heat and is similar to the Feed-In Tariffs (FITs) for consumers generating their own electricity.
Phase 1 – Non-domestic RHI Scheme
The scheme was launched for non-domestic installations in November 2011. To be eligible for this incentive, an MCS certified product must be fitted by an MCS certified installer. You can search for products here, and search for installers here.
You will need to apply to Ofgem for support under the scheme. Ofgem have published guidance setting out all the eligibility criteria and how to apply. This is available on their website.
Phase 2 – Domestic RHI Scheme
The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has announced its final policy regarding the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) for domestic consumers. The announcement sets out how the scheme will work and the tariff levels for each of the eligible technologies.
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) will play a central role in the domestic RHI ensuring the high quality of installations and providing consumer protection, however consumer queries will be handled by the Energy Saving Trust.
The domestic RHI will launch in Spring 2014 and will be available to domestic customers who have installed renewable heat technology and meet the RHI eligibility criteria from 15th July 2009.
The domestic RHI tariff will be paid on a quarterly basis for seven years and will be based on the estimated heat demand of the property in most cases. DECC is offering an additional £230 per year for customers who take out metering and monitoring support packages for heat pumps and £200 for biomass boilers.

You can find more information, including tariff’s on the Government’s website listed below:
